## What it does

pi-runtime-monitor adds a status line to Pi’s footer: process ID, CPU, resident memory and the aggregated usage of the subagents linked to the session. Measurements are sampled every two seconds.

The extension has no runtime dependencies, no network access, no telemetry and stores nothing. It reloads in an open session with `/reload` and uninstalls with `pi remove`.

## When to reach for it

- You run several subagents in parallel and want to see what they cost the machine.
- A session slows down and you want to know who uses what.
